Christmas Mini Sessions will take place over the weekend of Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th November 2024 at my St.Albans Studio. To book your 3o minute session, select a time slot below.

Christmas Mini Sessions are perfect for creating personalised Christmas cards or a lovely keepsake for the family. With two charming backdrops, these mini sessions will get you right in the festive spirit! It doesn’t have to just be the kids so bring your Christmas Jumpers and jump in all together.

What Shall We Wear?

We have the choice of two backdrops as you can see above. You are welcome to have your photos taken on both. The fireplace scene will lend itself to all the traditional Christmas colours, Red, Green, Silver, Gold etc. You might want to go for Christmas jumpers or matching PJ’s or cosy jumpers as this is of course and indoor scene.

The Barn Doors could be either indoor or outdoor outfits as either will work. Being a lighter colour backdrop, pretty much anything will work but again, the traditional colours will always compliment this scene.

Is it just for the kids?

Absolutely not! We have space on each backdrop for around 5 people so parents / grandparents are all welcome to join in the fun. All I ask is no pets please as I want to be sure no children with allergies are excluded.

Can we bring props?

Yes! Please do! Whilst we will have some props available, feel free to bring your own along to enhance your photos.

When will the photos be ready?

Your private online gallery will be ready by the end of the weekend ready for for you to select your three favourite images for editing. From there, I will need a day or two to deliver the final photos.

Can I make Christmas cards from the photos?

Absolutely! The images will be high resolution so that you can make Christmas cards or prints in any size.

What if my children don’t sit still or are shy?

Don’t worry! As a mum of two under three and 20 years experience, I know that it’s tricky to get them to co-operate sometimes! Please don’t panic, we keep the session fun and move quickly to change things around to keep them interested.

Can we buy additional photos?

Of course, if three just isn’t enough then you can purchase extra photos at £20 each.
